Spring Snow

Spring Snow           (tag poem , edited)

  Listen to them

gently tinkling,

encased petals

in icy song;

unaware that

winters trying

to keep their souls

buried too long.

.

They struggle still

above the frost,

sweet colored specks

peek through the snow.
  A
song of spring

upon  cold leaves
  an urge to dance-

  a need to grow

.

Listen closely

as the breezes

whisper secrets

to  frozen  trees

They bow gently

icy fingers
  pointing towards
  bright
 sights beneath...

.

Colors speak  as

snow is falling.

under springtime's

early  warning.

Cold last breath of

winters harshness

will disappear

tomorrow morning.

Inner Demons

Inner Demons               ( edited tag poem)

 Walking  beside myself,
 shadow  and form -as one.
 W
aiting upon   sunset

feeling the chilling come.
 clenching my hands up tight,

night ...and night ,after night ...

.

Longings that mystify,
 taunting  satisfaction.

 Drunk without partaking

of any libation.

Forever trapped in flight..

night ...and night , after night ...

 P
aradox . Sanctity.
 Purely sweet evil.
 So sacred. Unholy.
 What pain these eyes conceal
 with each taste of delight,
night ...and night , after night ...

  Walk in my shadow; dare!
  Please take deliberate  steps.

  Don't join me unaware.
  Do what your souls suspects.
  Offer me your invite...
night ...and night , after night ...

 Secret creature of need-
 Craving  intimacy.
 A  perfect demon seed ,
 adoring treachery.
 Enjoy  your tragic sight

night ...and night , after night ...

But That Star is No Longer Wished Upon

But That Star Is No Longer Wished Upon

  (tag poem unedited)

DreamsbyDay: It was the second star to the right
DreamsbyDay: that beckoned and caught our attention
DreamsbyDay: the one of quaint fairy tale origin
DreamsbyDay: too obvious to even mention..
DreamsbyDay: .
DreamsbyDay: It fell like an errant meteor
DreamsbyDay: it seemed like a wayward dream falling
DreamsbyDay: it trailed  a sad tail  , and forevermore
DreamsbyDay: burned a strange... sight for recalling
DreamsbyDay: .
DreamsbyDay: The star that burns twice as bright , as they say
DreamsbyDay: burns half a s long , and so..I wonder
DreamsbyDay: if this was exhaustion or destiny
DreamsbyDay: how many wishes were plundered..
DreamsbyDay: .
DreamsbyDay: enough with the rhyming and reasonings
DreamsbyDay: No wishes originate there
DreamsbyDay: adults with good sense, don't believe these things
DreamsbyDay: those that do, have the sense, to not share...
DreamsbyDay:

.DreamsbyDay: So a star falls to earth , and the mind reels
DreamsbyDay: into fantasy taught in our youth
DreamsbyDay: naivete stands with our age ,it's revealed
DreamsbyDay: we may learn, but we never know..truth...
DreamsbyDay: .
DreamsbyDay: So the fantasy dies in the moonlight
DreamsbyDay: and all of the lost boys are gone..
DreamsbyDay: and I may  fall into some hearts wishes..
DreamsbyDay: but that star..is no longer wished upon...

Autumn Path

Autumn Path  (tag poem, edited)

Life travels circle wise , and wisdom free

bombarding sense with sensitivity.

Despite all efforts , vision's are half seen

reality a half world, in between..

.

So harvest comes again to warn the cold

chasing summer  with it's windy hold

Paths we've walked but don't anticipate

seasons know the cycle... and will not wait.

.

I'll hold last gasps of sweet October here

holding the breath within my hurried heart

I'll practice dancing with the golden leaves

pacing  days as if I have no peace...

.

One with the autumn sun and winters warning

paths of another chilly harvest morning

make me cry to a wayward thought of springs gone by

I find I exhale and some how..it's a sigh..

ABC's of Enlightenment

ABC's of Enlightenment
(when asked to pray, I wrote this)

Antagonistic Angels , relinquishing anger to anarchy

Bereft of Souls, between worlds, beaten and  broken

Catastrophically   cast into the chasm  of clarity....
 Drifting deeper into degradation

Every breathe evolves you into

Fiends...

G-d goes with grace and gives

Hearts that hold him , hope of heavens  home

In  interventions and invention , individually ideal-
Jury and judge  joined on a  journey to
Kill your doubts and keep Kindred hearts

Loved...

Many men mention meanings , making mistakes
 Noting nothing worth knowing now..
 Omnipressence overpowers
 Prurient power proves a peril.
Quick questions and quizzical quirks defying
 Reason

  Sanctity and sacred sentences
  torn
from Torah, tomes and tales of times
  Underrated and misunderstoodand useless until
Visions visit and vex inviting  investigation...
  Wonderment..

 Xenophile exiled from xanado.
 Yearning to yield to destiny
 beyond a zeniths zone.

Any Day Now

Any Day Now     (tag poem, edited)

  Inspiration wanes, wrangling  depression

and my  aging aching body complains...

aspirations filter through the mundane

I fear the night times of introspection

.

In dappled days of sunnier moods I

wandered aimlessly in euphoria

Moods of late border on hysteria

seems all I ever want to do , is cry.

.

Well meaning friends all sympathize and pray

for me and all my  sad situations

hoping for my sanity's salvation
  Unreachable,
 I tell them I'm okay..

.

Yesterday seemed much worse to me some how
Guess my mood will improve, any day
now...

Hearing Echoes

 Hearing Echoes  (tag poem)

  Mysterious longings plague me lately,
  s
ad echoes in the corner of my heart

orchestrating harmonies remembered

in long forgotten  corners of my mind;

resonating into every fiber

chilling places I considered dead.
  P
laces once kept warm within a memory

jostled into feeling once again...

Silence now suspended by a humming

droning in the background achingly;

not actually haunting but, prevading

every thing I do and say and see.
  T
omorrow is a feelingI once knew

remnants of the whispers that were you ...
