Spring Snow

Spring Snow           (tag poem , edited)

  Listen to them

gently tinkling,

encased petals

in icy song;

unaware that

winters trying

to keep their souls

buried too long.

.

They struggle still

above the frost,

sweet colored specks

peek through the snow.
  A
song of spring

upon  cold leaves
  an urge to dance-

  a need to grow

.

Listen closely

as the breezes

whisper secrets

to  frozen  trees

They bow gently

icy fingers
  pointing towards
  bright
 sights beneath...

.

Colors speak  as

snow is falling.

under springtime's

early  warning.

Cold last breath of

winters harshness

will disappear

tomorrow morning.
