Spring Snow

Spring Snow           (tag poem , edited)
  Listen to them
gently tinkling,
encased petals
in icy song;
unaware that
winters trying
to keep their souls
buried too long.
They struggle still
above the frost,
sweet colored specks
peek through the snow.
song of spring
upon  cold leaves
  an urge to dance-

  a need to grow
Listen closely
as the breezes
whisper secrets
to  frozen  trees
They bow gently
icy fingers
  pointing towards
 sights beneath...
Colors speak  as
snow is falling.
under springtime's
early  warning.
Cold last breath of
winters harshness
will disappear
tomorrow morning.
